I have been a little remiss in blogging and keeping up with social networking over the past few weeks but for good reason: real life celebration took over.
Last night my husband, Azi, graduated with his bachelor’s in Mathematics. Not only did he obtain his degree but he did so with Honors (Cum Laude) and as the Outstanding Senior in Mathematics at his college. On Monday he begins an internship for the summer at NASA across the bay in Mountain View.

I am so proud of him right now.
In summer 2009, just weeks after our wedding, Azi returned to college to complete his degree as a full-time student. This has been an interesting journey to take with him and taught me so much about the foundation of our relationship.
The most important lesson that I learned is that for a marriage to thrive during stressful times, you have to support each other in being the best you can be, and you have to support each others’ dreams.
I am thankful we figured this out early on in our marriage so we can keep at it in the next phase. Until then, we are continuing to celebrate the end of this phase in style.
Coming soon…
My next interview in the Soul Work Series will be posted mid-week. Over the next few months, look out for interviews with an animal advocate, sound healer, attorney, artist, life coach, jeweler and more!
Later this month, Soul Spackle is being re-launched with 9-day giveaway bonanza and a Summer of Self Love blog series. Be sure to visit from June 21st through July 1st to enter for all the generous prizes from Goddess Circle community members, including one from yours truly!

What a great reminder of an important lesson. Huge congratulations to your husband – wonderful accomplishment! You both look so happy!
Thanks Kristen. I’ll pass on your congratulations.
