9 of Pentacles, Rider-Waite Smith deck
As we wind down into the last quarter of the year, it is time to stop galloping forward and to acknowledge how far you’ve come.
It is time to ground what you have begun;
To name the fledgling plans that bore fruit;
To savor your success;
To own what you have manifested; and
To share your accomplishments with your community.
Your victories – big and small – were not simply lucky breaks and or a matter of being in the right place, at the right time.
They are personal. They are payback for the effort you put in, for the dreams you dreamed, and for the risks taken.
No matter how scruffy or brilliant these rewards are, own them! Cherish them. Take credit. Show them off.
What are you feeling especially proud of and would like to be witnessed? Please show off in the comments section.

Thank you for this uplifting post. You have written simply and in some way it touches me deeply.
What comes to mind in answer to your question, is not a worldly accomplishment, it is more the feeling of growing love in my heart.
Gifts of the heart are so rewarding and need their kudos too! I witness your being present with all you feel and opening to more.
September’s Tarot Insight is especially meaningful and poignant to me; it brought me to tears. I wanted to thank you for all that you share with us … it helps guide and direct, calm and helps us reflect. I look forward to each new Tarot Insight from you.
This year has been a challenging one, beginning with the progression of a nerve-related disease that is affecting my mobility; a series of TIAs and a stroke in May. Now that I am back at work (I am a special ed teacher) I am realizing that this job that I love may soon become too much for me. I am still a few years away from full retirement and all of this together has been weighing heavily on me.
Reading your Insight this evening opened my eyes to everything you were saying as it applies to my life. The debilitating conditions of the past year have been depressing, but your piece helped me to look back on the successes and achievements of the years prior to this one. This has changed my low opinion of what I have to offer to the real knowledge of what has been accomplished over the years. Thank you, Jo.
Donna
Donna,
I am so touched that my monthly insights have resonated so deeply for you – thank you for letting me know.
You have been through so much this year and I want to witness your strength, your resolve and your commitment to health and healing. May you sit with this success and all you have accomplished before and will in years to come.
Blessings, Jo
This year marks 10 years of living all on my own. Up until this very month, I never needed assistance staying afloat $$$-wise. No one thought I could do it — I was so unstable in my youth and needed so much help.
I have stayed as steady as can be expected — sometimes steadier — in the face of extraordinary Uncertainty this year.
I renewed my commitment to blogging but more importantly, to writing and to being my vulnerable, authentic self, which as been rich with so many of its own rewards.
I’m more likely to take creative action on my own ideas than ever before. I have more self-trust.
All enormous strides in my book.
Sara, I witness your creative spirit, independence and ability to sustain yourself in the face of adversity.
I loved and deeply appreciated this reminder to savor my achievements over the past year.
So often, we over-focus on the future that we forget to pat ourselves on the back for what we’ve already manifested.
Thank you, Jo.
I’ll be a regular visitor.
Blissings,
the goddess known as Jacqui
Jacqui, it warms my hear that this post resonated for you. I witness all you have manifested over the last year and share a toast with you for your successes. Cheers!
Wonderful post Jo, and such an important reminder to take stock for the year.
I made a very deep commitment to my writing this year, to discovering what “spirituality” means to me, and discovering a very real friend and wise woman deep inside me that has been there all along. I’m proud of listening and owning that voice inside that always points me in the right direction, no matter how lost I may feel in the moment.
I witness your owning of your inner crone and your path to your sacred within.
Oh this is so timely Jo, thank-you for giving us the space to review & have it witnessed.
This year has been a busy one with the start of my blog & business, while working elsewhere part-time. I created my very first parenting kit which meant writing down the work that I had been doing with families (coherently) for the past 17 yrs; recording guided meditations which was weird because I have only really done them “live”, and coming out of my shell with the whole social media thing to let poeple know about the gifts I have to to share with others. I did it despite feeling overwhelmed at times and wondering over and over how I would reach people (still there).
I also made 22 videos since end of April 2011! (OMG did’nt realize this until I just counted now!) Now I am working on organizing myself better to bring the next two kits for parents and children to fruition which I began with the first one. You post is a gentle reminder to take a breath, and acknowledge all that I have done.
I am grateful to have made many new friends online who I have felt supported by and who have inspired me with their own journeys.
Wow, Petrea what a harvest! I witness your desire to make your passions a business, your productivity at work and home and your perseverance.
Thanks Jo for creating a space for us to share and be witnessed.
This year despite my continual life struggles and challenges, I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone, exposed myself and my art for the world to see in many ways. I’ve become brave and bold with my jewelry pieces. I’ve been finding my own blogging voice as I ventured out and shared my life and art with others. I opened my portfolio and created a new sister shop with my photographs and soon to share my paintings. Created my first Ebook ever! Recorded my first Youtube movie and have grown and expanded in ways I never thought possible. For all of this I am grateful to the incredible relationships I’ve made through the Goddess Circle. There we’ve supported, encouraged and inspired each other as we all journey together, and it’s been incredibly magickal for me.
Allurynn, I witness your courageous and resilient spirit and above all, the immenseness of your creative drive to make beautiful things.
Hiya
I know I am a bit late to the comment party but I just wanted to say how much I am loving the idea of harvesting what we have achieved during the year. Taking stock of the wins instead of focusing on the losses.
So this year I successfully started a witchcraft blog and completely changed my own perceptions of what my life is in a really great way. I also completed 3/4 of the first year of my MBA which is breaking my brain but in a good way.
Bring on the final quarter I am so ready for it!
Oh Antara, it is never too late to savor our successes!
I witness your hard work and growth – within and without – over the past season.
I love this post. I premiered my website this summer. I have not built the list that I want yet. . . but I am needing to sit with and appreciate all that I have accomplished. Thanks for the reminder.
Congratulations Linnette! I witness the hard work you put in to put your vision into reality.
